VERONICA WILBUR
LISW
Veronica Wilbur is a licensed independent social worker and therapist whose path to becoming a therapist was a second-career journey inspired by her personal experiences. Having faced challenges and found support along the way, Veronica is passionate about providing others with the same compassionate care that made a difference in her life. She offers a safe, judgment-free space where clients can build a meaningful therapeutic relationship that fosters mental and emotional well-being.
Known for her empathetic nature and practical problem-solving, Veronica ensures that each session offers more than just conversation. She helps clients leave with new perspectives, skills, or resources to support their growth and healing. She believes that life’s challenges are easier to navigate with the right support and is committed to walking alongside her clients as they create lasting change.
Veronica works with adults 18 and older, addressing a wide range of concerns. She specializes in treating anxiety, panic, and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT). With extensive experience in working with couples, Veronica also uses Gottman and EFT techniques to help clients break free from negative relationship patterns and build healthy connections. Additionally, much of her work focuses on supporting neurodiverse adults with ADHD and Asperger’s.
Outside of her work, Veronica enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, though she is just as content at home with a good book and her husband. She considers herself both an extrovert and introvert, depending on the situation. Veronica is also known as the go-to person in her circle for all things gluten-free—though she admits to still missing real bread and pasta!
