Elizabeth Corbin

Psy.D., Psychologist

Elizabeth Corbin, PsyD, is a licensed clinical psychologist with a deep commitment to helping people heal, grow, and connect. Her calm, steady presence helps clients feel safe as they explore life’s challenges—whether that’s recovering from trauma, navigating relationship struggles, or finding a greater sense of belonging.

Liz works with adolescents (13 and up), adults, and couples in therapy, and offers psychological assessments for individuals as young as 6. She also provides parenting consultations for caregivers of younger children. Her clinical approach is informed by specialized training in psychodynamic therapy, Gottman Method couples therapy, trauma-focused care, DBT, and the integration of spirituality and well-being.

Much of Liz’s work focuses on issues related to trauma, obsessive-compulsive personality traits, loneliness, and life transitions. She’s especially passionate about helping clients build resilience and repair the emotional effects of difficult experiences. Having spent several years living and working in Africa alongside aid workers, missionaries, and global organizations, Liz brings a unique cultural perspective to her work and understands the complexities that come with major life changes.

Clients often describe Liz as thoughtful, curious, and collaborative. She’s energized by learning—whether that’s diving into new research, exploring different therapeutic techniques, or simply listening closely to better understand what matters most to each person she works with.

Outside the office, Liz loves cooking over a campfire, swimming, taking long walks, and spending time at farmers markets and antique shops. A self-proclaimed foodie and lifelong learner, she also enjoys fiction of all kinds, live music, theater, and wandering through art museums.
